Does FundedNext Accept US Clients?
Yes and no — it depends which FundedNext you mean. Here's the split between the CFD side and the futures side, and what a US trader should actually buy.
Some links are affiliate links — I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and code SATO gets you the best available discount. I trade FundedNext Futures myself. Country rules change, so confirm eligibility on FundedNext's site before buying.
FundedNext Futures: yes. It's built on CME futures and is the route US traders use. FundedNext CFD: generally no — US rules restrict retail CFD and leveraged forex, so the CFD side isn't open to US residents. If you're in the US and want FundedNext, buy the futures challenge.

Read the CFD rankingCFD vs Futures: Two Different Products
Most of the confusion comes from treating FundedNext as one product. It's really two: a CFD business (forex, gold, indices on MT5-style platforms) and a futures business (CME contracts on futures platforms). Eligibility follows the product, not the brand.
| Factor | FundedNext CFD | FundedNext Futures |
|---|---|---|
| Open to US residents | Generally no | Yes — the main US route |
| Instruments | Forex, gold, indices, crypto CFDs | CME futures (ES, NQ, MES, MNQ…) |
| Platforms | MT5-style CFD platforms | Futures platforms (e.g. Tradovate, TradingView) |
| Why | US retail CFD access is restricted | Exchange-traded, regulated contracts |
| Overnight financing | Swaps apply | None |
The full product comparison is in my CFD vs futures prop firms guide, and the platform side is covered in what platform FundedNext uses.
Why the CFD Side Is Closed to US Traders
CFDs are effectively unavailable to US retail traders, and leveraged retail forex is tightly restricted. CFD prop firms route simulated and live flow through brokers and liquidity providers that won't onboard US residents — so the limitation sits in the whole CFD prop model, not just FundedNext. You'll see the same exclusion at most CFD firms.
One thing I'd stress: don't try to get around it with a VPN or someone else's address. Firms run identity checks before payouts, and the likely outcome is a passed challenge with a refused withdrawal.
The US Route: FundedNext Futures
Futures are exchange-traded and regulated, which is why US-facing prop firms are almost all futures firms. FundedNext Futures fits that model: ES, NQ and the micros, end-of-day drawdown, and a fast payout cycle. It's the firm I trade most, and it's my #1 futures pick.
For the detail, read my FundedNext Futures review and the futures payout rules. If you want to see a real funded account, my FundedNext payout proof breaks down $10,000 withdrawable and a $5,136 day.
In the US? This is the FundedNext account to buy
FundedNext Futures is the product open to US traders. Code SATO applies the best available discount at checkout — check the current price and rules before you buy.
What to Check Before You Buy
- Your country and state are on the current eligibility list at checkout
- You can pass KYC with your real name and address — payouts depend on it
- The payout methods available to US residents work for you
- You understand the drawdown and consistency rules for the model you pick
- You've planned for tax — payouts are usually income
Tax setups are covered in my prop firm taxes guide — I'm not a tax adviser, so confirm with an accountant.
Not in the US? You Have Both Options
Outside the US, most traders can pick either side. If you prefer forex and gold, start with the FundedNext CFD review; UK traders can read funded trading accounts UK.

FundedNext US Clients — FAQ
Does FundedNext accept US clients?+
It depends on the product. FundedNext Futures is built on CME futures and is the route US traders use. The CFD side (forex, gold, indices on MT5-style platforms) is generally not available to US residents, because US rules restrict retail CFD and leveraged forex access. Always confirm the current country list on FundedNext's own site before buying — it can change.
Why can't US traders use FundedNext CFD accounts?+
CFDs are effectively unavailable to US retail traders, and the brokers and liquidity providers that CFD prop firms rely on restrict US clients as a result. This isn't a FundedNext-specific decision so much as how the whole CFD prop industry is structured — most CFD prop firms have the same limitation.
Can US traders use FundedNext Futures?+
Yes — FundedNext Futures is aimed squarely at the US-style futures market: CME products like ES, NQ, MES and MNQ, traded through futures platforms. It's the product I trade myself. Check the current eligibility terms at checkout, since firms occasionally restrict individual states or countries.
Is it allowed to use a VPN to buy a FundedNext CFD account from the US?+
Don't. Misrepresenting your country of residence usually breaks the terms of service, and firms verify identity (KYC) before payouts. The realistic outcome is passing the challenge and then having the payout refused. If you're a US resident, use the product that's open to you.
What do US traders need to get paid by FundedNext Futures?+
Expect identity verification (KYC) before your first payout and a contract or agreement step for the funded stage. Payout methods and timing are covered in my FundedNext futures payout rules guide — check the current rulebook for exact numbers, since they get updated.
Do US traders pay taxes on FundedNext payouts?+
Generally yes — funded-account payouts are usually treated as income for a US resident, often reported as independent-contractor income. I'm not a tax adviser; my prop firm taxes guide explains the common setups, and a local accountant should confirm your situation.
Is FundedNext Futures a good choice for US traders?+
It's my #1 overall pick in the best futures prop firms ranking, mainly for its end-of-day drawdown, no daily loss limit on the main models and fast payout cycle. It's still an evaluation business — most traders fail challenges — so size small and read the rules first.
Can I switch from FundedNext CFD to Futures if I move to the US?+
Accounts aren't typically transferable between products or residency changes. If your residence changes, contact support before trading further and follow their guidance — eligibility is tied to where you live, not where you opened the account.
Are there other futures prop firms that accept US traders?+
Yes, most of the big futures prop firms are US-facing. My ranking compares the ones I've actually traded, including Tradeify and Apex, in the best futures prop firms guide.
Does code SATO work for US traders on FundedNext Futures?+
Yes, the code applies at checkout on FundedNext Futures accounts and gives you the best available discount at the time. I don't quote a fixed percentage because promotions change — check the current price at checkout.
